Spring brings beautiful flowers like the cherry blossoms in DC, but it also brings allergies.
With allergy season upon us, here's a few tips and tricks to get you through the season.
If you suffer from seasonal allergies, you know that it's not just flowers and pollen that trigger itchy eyes and sneezing. Throughout the late summer and fall there are new irritants like ragweed, grass, and mold.
Here are a few ways to prevent or relieve allergy symptoms:
1. Use a dehumidifier to reduce moisture in your home and inhibit mold.
2. Check and replace heating, ventilation, and air conditioning filters.
3. Take a shower after being outside, this will rinse away pollen on your body and clothes.
4. Don't hang your clothes outside to dry to avoid pollen contamination.
