MyDay daily disposable

MyDay is CooperVision's newest 1-day lens. You may have heard of other popular lenses made by CooperVision, such as the Biofinity and Proclear lenses. MyDay is different in that it is a 1-day lens.

Daily disposable lenses are driving the contact lens market. The newest and most exciting lens technologies are being introduced as 1-day lenses.

According to CooperVision, MyDay has a revolutionary hydrophilic (water-loving) material which allows excellent oxygen transmission with the least amount of silicone. Less silicone makes the lens less stiff and more comfortable. As an added bonus theses lenses have a built in UV light blocker.


With the MyDay lens, Cooper is competing with the likes of the new Acuvue Oasys 1-day from Vistakon and the excellent Dailies Total 1 from Alcon.

For me, the comfort of the new MyDay lenses has been very comparable to that of Dailies Total 1. However, there is no one lens that works for everyone.
