NEW CONTACT LENS TECHNOLOGY

The past two years have seen the introduction of brand new soft contact lens technologies.  One of the best lenses to hit the market is Dailies Total One (DTO) from Alcon.  This lens boasts a silicone center surrounded by a hydrogel coating.  This means the lens has a water content closer to that of the human eye.  When you wear DTO it is easy to forget that you are wearing a lens at all.

Another recent lens to the market is the Bausch and Lomb Ultra.  Ultra is not a daily contact lens, however, it is extremely comfortable, like DTO.  Ask us about trying one of these new lenses at your next eye exam.      ​
